Southfield Celebrates

Black History Month!

Southfield Parks & Recreation Department is pleased to welcome back The Secret Society of Twisted Storytellers as the final Southfield Celebrates Black History Month event for 2024.

 

Join us on Friday, February 23rd in the Southfield Pavilion for an evening with some of the areas best storytellers and musicians. Attend the Pre-Glow from 6-6:45 pm to visit with and talk to the artists before the performances begin at 7 pm.

 

Be sure to browse the Storytellers Marketplace before the show or during intermission. There will also be a cash bar and food available for purchase.

WOMAN QUEEN
POWER!

The Twisted Storytellers is thrilled to present: WOMAN QUEEN POWER on Friday, March 15, 2024 at the Marygrove Theatre in Detroit.

Featuring storytellers: 👑 Regina Hall 👑 Scheherazade Parrish 👑 Malika Williams and 👑 Sara Young, with music by the talented Zosette Guir and a special dance performance that promises to be a feast for the senses.

Doors open at 6:30 pm and the show begins at 7:30. Arrive early to enjoy a cash bar provided by Perfect 10 Mobile Mixology. 

Don't miss out on this celebration of womanhood, strength, and the transformative power of stories. See you there!
 

Tickets must be purchased in advance online. There will be no door sales. All sales are final. No refunds.

 

Please note: due to policy changes at the venue, food and beverage are no longer allowed inside the theatre.
